Kiona is a ceramic artist whose work embodies an intuitive dialogue between herself and clay. Rooted in the philosophy of organic creation, she approaches each piece as a collaborator rather than a sculptor—listening, responding, and allowing form to emerge naturally.

Her journey with ceramics began as an exploratory course, where she was encouraged to push boundaries and embrace the unknown. Over time, this evolved into a deeply personal practice, one that mirrors the slow, intentional shaping of nature itself. Her work reflects the tension between raw, unbridled creation and the human impulse to shape, refine, and alter.

At times, she blindfolds herself while working, removing personal imposition and surrendering fully to the clay’s natural inclinations. This process, along with a deep reverence for craftsmanship, ensures that no two pieces are ever the same.
